Inspired by Lygia Clark’s Contra Relevo (1959), the sandal translates geometric tension into form.
The squared toe and block heel create a strong architectural base, contrasted by the curve of the upper and an oversized leather ankle cuff. Its exaggerated proportion gives the silhouette a brutalist presence, while metal hardware punctuates the leather, exploring the dialogue between different materials.
Handmade in Franca, São Paulo, the Counter Relief embodies artisanal excellence and ethical commitment. Every stage of production follows strict standards, ensuring the proper disposal of materials such as glue and leather scraps.
